Is AARP Insurance owned by the Hartford?

I have been a member of AARP and am looking at their auto insurance for my new car.  I have been seeing ads displaying AARP.Thehartford.com and am curious who owns who.  Does AARP Insurance own the Hartford or does the Hartford Ins own AARP INS. 

I think they should make it less confusing for seniors that are buying auto insurance.
